Our History
Our family-run business was founded by Richard Calvin Wilson,
born in 1928. In 1948 he graduated from Berkley California with a degree
in engineering. Richard
than began
work
with the H.J.
Lorenz Irrigation
Company, designing and installing some of Northern California's largest crop
irrigation systems. He was also the distributor of irrigation materials for
all of Northern California.
In 1979 Richard was joined by his sons, Albert
and Ted, where he taught them all aspects of the business, including
how to measure, design, present bids to clients, and install
residential and
commercial
irrigation
systems.
Richard named the company simply R.C. Wilson & Son's Lawn Sprinklers. After
Richard's untimely death in 2001, Albert continued to run and expand
the business. Albert's son, Albert Junior joined his father in the business,
changing the name to the one we have today - Albert Wilson & Son.
